We love our dogs as much as our children and always want to be with them all the time. But there is a time for us to be separated for quite a time, couple days sometimes maybe weeks. For dog cages, it is important to make sure that the boarding kennel use concrete dividing wall to separate other dogs from our dog. Wire fence not so good because other dog can easily urinate to other cages , snapping and barking each other, and for aggressive male dog it can disturb the female dog because they can see each other through the wire. Cage must be large enough for the dog stretch, turning around and lying down comfortably. Also check for cage ventilation, cleanliness, temperature and bowl for food and water.

Good dog boarding kennel must have a schedule for the dog to get out for potty breaks, playing with the staff and socializing with other dogs. Make sure the staff is a dog lovers so they will do the job with care not only because it’s their duty. The security of facility must be observed when you visit the kennel, to make sure your dog is not escaping from the boarding kennel. Must have tall and strong fence and kennel so the dog can’t jump on it or destroy it.

The last but not least check that boarding kennel has a relationship with veterinarian. If not ask if you can offer yours for the dog healthy. Make sure the veterinarian ready for 24 hours to check the sick dog when needed. To make the dog fell more comfortable at the boarding kennel you can bring his favorite toy, blanket, bowls and other if the kennel allow it.
