Some dogs are not inside dogs and some owner choose to keep their dog outside for some reasons. Pet kennels can be bought at the pet store or special pet kennels store. Pet kennels cost quite expensive. Making your own pet kennels are cheaper than hiring someone to make the pet kennels or buy that already made one.

When building your own pet kennels there are few things to consider. Decide how big the pet kennels will be for your dog. This is depends on the size of your dog breed when it is going to be adult dog in this pet kennels. The pet kennels must be large enough for the dog to stand, sit, turn around, lay down, and having exercise for active dog breed.

Choose quality material for the pet kennels. Placing a windbreaker and heat lamp in dog kennels also helpful to fight the changing weather. Locate the pet kennels near shady tree will keep the dog from overheated during summer and hot day. Put the pet kennels on higher ground to prevent the snow or water getting inside the dog house.

Place the kennels to the spot that easily viewed from inside but keep them away from the main door to avoid distraction from outside the house like people and other animal or dog which can  cause barking problems that disturb the neighbors.
